The girl on the left picture is totally immersed in writing, thinking that she must finish it as soon as possible, while the boy on the right sits on the couch leisurely and unhurried with the idea that he will put tasks off to the last possible minute. These two pictures indicate two distinct habits of time management.

　　The two living habits are prevalent in our life. Some people are used to starting up early and getting everything done as quickly as possible, while others, with symptoms of procrastination, are more likely to be pushed forward by deadlines. It is justifiably argued that deadline can largely increase efficiency by creating an atmosphere of anxiety. However, life is full of unexpected events and to make sure that we have enough time to solve problems and complete tasks on time, we must make plans in advance and leave some room for accidents and improvement. Otherwise, we would possibly end up in failure and even though we succeed in meeting the deadline, the quality of our work cannot be guaranteed.

　　From the discussion above, it is apparent that procrastination can be a major problem in both our careers and personal life, and that forming a good habit of time management is pivotal on our way to success. Only by making good use of our time, can we be a man of punctuality and get ahead no matter what we do.
